Washington D.C Youth Tour

Youth Program in Washington DC If you are a High School Junior or Senior and your parents live in McLeod Cooperative Power Association’s service area (McLeod, Sibley, Renville, and Carver Counties) you could win an all-expense trip to Washington, DC. The 2018 Rural Electric Youth Tour will be held June 9-14, 2018.

Power Line Worker Scholarships

Lineman working on power lines Scholarships are available for persons enrolling in a power line worker program at a Minnesota vocational college. One $500 scholarship is available through the Cooperative.

Application forms are available by calling 1.800.494.6272 or click on the link below to download one. High school seniors looking for a career choice may want to study the Power Line Worker career brochure. They are available from McLeod Cooperative Power explaining the educational requirements, on-the-job training, daily work duties and salary range.

Ridgewater College Foundation Scholarships

McLeod Cooperative Power donates scholarship dollars annually to the Ridgewater College Foundation in Hutchinson and Willmar. Students of Ridgewater who graduated from a high school in McLeod, Renville, Sibley, or Carver County may apply via the Ridgewater Foundation.
